Complaint Regarding Illegal Sewerage Arrears on Disconnected Water Connection

My HMWSSB water connection under CAN 023100950 was officially disconnected in the year 2013 and the water meter was also removed. Since then, there has been no water supply to the premises. However, after nearly 12 years, I am being informed that sewerage arrears of approximately Rs. 1,78,273/- are pending, without any bills or legal notices being served to me during this entire period. This is a clear case of non-issue of bills, wrong billing after disconnection, and departmental lapse. No mobile number was registered after 2013 because the connection had already been officially disconnected and I was no longer an active consumer. There is no legal requirement for a disconnected consumer to maintain a registered mobile number. Hence, the responsibility of non-communication, non-issue of bills, and accumulation of arrears lies entirely with Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board. I request immediate verification of disconnection records, cancellation of all illegal sewerage charges raised after 2013, and issuance of a revised NIL balance statement at the earliest.
