battary discharging in half an hour usage

i have gt3100 tab. Its working is satisfactory but for the battary.It takes nealy to gain full charge, but it discharges in half an hour on usage( I use it for reading pdf files). The body of the tab is very warm. Further it has stopped charging while in on condition.
