Sir,
On 22.08.2017, there was a bank strike and all the ATMs were closed.We , me and my wife booked a OLA share cab from tea board to madhyamgram . While on the way the cab broke down at a remote location relatively unknown to us. We were just left there. When we called OLA service they told us to book another ride. Since we had OLA money we went ahead and booked another MINI cab (CRN983123602) . When we spoke to the driver, we explained the entire scenario to him and told him we don’t know where we are and requested him to come to us via map location. He just asked us our mode of payment. When we told we will pay via Ola money, he insisted on cash payment . When we expressed our inability to pay cash he just cancelled the ride even after knowing our situation. When we called ola service they asked us again to book another ride without any compensation.
Sir after getting harassed to such a degree we went to look for bus and had to walk nearly for an hour in an unknown area for getting the bus. Since then till date this incident has cost me my peace of mind. Because of their bad ser vice not only me but even my wife was harassed that day. It disheartened me that these fancy service providers could just walk all over us and there is nothing we could do.
Sir, I want to lodge this complaint not just for compensation but also to find a reason to believe that there is a platform where the voice of common people like us against these service providers could be heard and be reminder for them to provide us better service. Please hear my voice.
