Interest charges levied on Credit Card

Hi,
I have Icici Bank Credit Card and the due date is 26th of every month. Since I receive my salary on 31st of every month, there was a delay in payment and an interest of Rs 7369 with tax of 1326 was levied. I have raised a Service Request: SR839635614 however no action was taken and the Customer Service Executive said that the charges cannot be reversed.

Requirement: Kindly look into the issue and help to reverse the interest charges.
