Due to reaching Airport 43 mins prior to boarding close instead of 45 mins missed the flight, The expected delay was pre informed to Indigo customer care even requested for the on call checkin which was denied and instead was told ground staff will be informed and they will help us. BUt at the boarding counter instead of helping they were simply transferring the case from one counter to another
The delay happened due to the Bus (was travelling from Ludhiana to Delhi) stopped by Delhi Police for more than an Hr. for their routine checking.
After rigorous follow up and argument for around 4-5 hrs they agreed to provide tickets in a connecting flight via Mumbai instead of directly from DEL to HYD and for that they had charged around 4.5k.
The flight reached Hyderabad midnight, my kid was travelling along my wife, and my kid was totally physically and mentally harassed due to un professional and non supportive attitude of Indigo Ground staff at the Delhi airport.
