Luggage delivery delayed - I arrived at Indira Gandhi International Airport by flight

I arrived at Indira Gandhi International Airport by flight WY 241 of Oman Air at 0655 hrs. my luggage did not arrive as scheduled along with me. This led to a lot of distress and disappointment with regards to the airline's customer service. I tried to contact the customer service through the provided channels and was treated with late and inadequate response. Traveling as a single lady it was difficult and mentally straining as I did not have access to the necessary commodities that I had brought along. The only thing I had were my currently worn clothes which made me feel unhygienic as I had been travelling since the earlier night. the first contact I was able to establish was at around 6 'o' clock in the evening, a rough 12 hours from when I landed in Delhi. This caused a lot of difficulties which cost me a lot. my luggage was finally returned to me at 3:30 the next day, with a delay greater than 40 hours. I request the airline to pay me a compensation of INR15,000 as consolation to the trouble and distress caused due to the delay of my luggage delivery.
